Visiting Hours

Visiting your family member or friend during recovery can be an exciting and emotional event. In order to make your visit as comfortable as possible, we ask that all visitors follow these simple guidelines:

  • Visitation hours are 1–4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and certain holidays.
  • All visitors are asked to sign in at the Admissions Office (to the left when you enter the front doors).
  • All packages need to be checked by staff before giving them to clients.
  • To protect the privacy and confidentiality of all clients, no visitors are allowed in bedroom areas.
  • Please visit in the common areas only: Living room, dining room, hallways, small group rooms and outside at the back of the building. No visitation is allowed around vehicles.
  • No pets are allowed during visitation.
  • We ask that visitors and clients engage in no inappropriate physical contact or sexual activity.
  • Clients must receive visitors from within the building. They can meet family members and friends at the front entrance.
  • Clients are not allowed to walk visitors to cars, but rather say their goodbyes inside the front entrance.
  • No alcohol or drugs allowed on the premises. If any visitor appears to be under the influence, they will be asked to leave.

Visiting is important for both families and their loved ones during treatment. For this reason, Nova Counseling services reserves the right to ask any visitor to leave if they do not abide by these guidelines. We thank you for your cooperation!
