Nova's Treatment Programs

Nova Counseling Services’ four- or six-week residential programs, 90-day halfway house  outpatient program and aftercare services focus on beginning and continuing the lifelong  healing process by providing intensive forms of treatment. Through it all, we help addicts invest in clean, sober and purposeful lives.

Nova staff and programs use the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as their foundation. We believe they are the surest way to help addicts recover. Education about the illness and caring feedback through group and individual therapy are the other cornerstones for change.

Nova is not a dual-diagnosis treatment facility. This means that we will only treat clients whose addiction is the primary diagnosis. Read more about this policy here.

Compassion

At Nova, we believe effective and lasting treatment is marked by the essential element of compassion. Treating addiction is a complex and demanding process – one that cannot be undergone without support from caring staff that is dedicated to helping our clients' programs of recovery.

Successful chemical dependency treatment requires exchanging an individual’s addictive behaviors for recovery behaviors.
