Nova's Team

Hugh Holly became the Executive Director at Nova Counseling Services at the beginning of 2010 when Marcia Larson retired after a long and successful term.

Hugh started within the treatment field as a counselor trainee for Waupaca County in 1980, working as the liaison to the law enforcement departments and hospital emergency rooms within the county. He was then hired as an inpatient AODA counselor at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Late in 1982, Hugh was part of the team that started Step Industries, a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization located in Neenah and Milwaukee. A long-time member of the Nova Counseling Services board of directors, Hugh left Step Industries as their CEO to accept the Executive Director position when Marcia retired. Hugh maintains his CSAC credential and he is approved by the State of Wisconsin as a Community Based Residential Facility Administrator.
