Helping People Heal From Alcohol & Other Drug Dependencies

Medically Monitored Residential Program

The NOVA medically monitored residential program provides a chemically dependent individual with the fundamental tools of recovery. At NOVA we believe and teach the principles of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). We believe they are the most effective support mechanism for sustained abstinence and lasting recovery.

Our highly structured program includes educational lectures on aspects of addiction, group counseling, individual counseling, First Step work (examining loss of control over the substance and resuting problems), recreational therapy and attendance at in-house and community Alcoholic Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

One of the most important aspects of 28 day treatment is the opportunity to live in a therapeutic community in which individuals can develop trusting relationships so they can practice their new found recovery skills.
